Mulier took up the role on 1 July 2026, reporting to Versace’s executive chairman, Lorenzo Bertelli. Prada Group, which completed its purchase of Versace from Capri Holdings in December 2025, said on 22 October 2026 that the brand was preparing its creative debut for 2027. Vitale left by mutual agreement days after Prada Group completed its purchase of Versace, and the design team then worked under chief executive Emmanuel Gintzburger until Mulier started on 1 July 2026.
