Charlotte Tilbury’s Lash Vinyl-Black Wrap Tech is a set of lash-plumping polymers designed to coat and wrap each individual lash, combined with jojoba wax for conditioning and a vinyl-black pigment that creates an optical illusion of bigger, brighter eyes. The brand claims 9x more volume after a single coat, a 2x curl effect, and up to 28-hour wear that resists smudging, flaking, sweat, clumping and humidity — and, unlike some volumising formulas, it isn’t a tubing mascara.
The brush is built dual-action: a crescent-shaped, laser-cut fibre-bristle design with one side soft and rounded for volume, and the other sharp and defined for precision and separation, so a single wand can do both jobs depending on how it’s angled.

What should you know about a decade in the making?
Charlotte Tilbury has said she discovered the transformative power of mascara at 13, and set out to build a formula that would make every lash type — sparse or thick, long or short, curly or straight — look bigger and thicker. The brand states the final formula took ten years and more than 200 tested combinations to land on, with the design drawing on 1940s film-noir Hollywood lash glamour and, per Tilbury, inspiration from the mechanics of a hairstyling tool reworked into a mascara wand.
In a brand-reported study of 105 participants over seven days, 94% saw instant volume, 95% agreed their eyes looked bigger and brighter, 93% reported lashes appeared multiplied, and 90% saw root-to-tip curl.

NewBeauty named it winner of "Best Volumizing Mascara" in its 2025 Beauty Awards; senior beauty editor Allie Hogan wrote that it "produces runway-ready lashes in just a few coats." A separate NewBeauty reviewer confirmed it isn’t a tubing formula and noted the brush "deposits a lot of product" at the lash root for an especially bold look. Space NK’s in-house reviewers praised its staying power, definition and clump-free, featherlight coat.
