“How much are fashion week tickets?” has a short answer: the main shows are not for sale. This guide sets out what each city’s organiser actually says, what is genuinely open to the public, and how to watch the shows for free — with the date we checked each source.
The short answer
You cannot buy a ticket to the main shows: Milan’s organiser says its events are invitation-only, and Paris marks its physical shows “by invitation”. What you can do is watch the organisers’ livestreams and go to the public events some of them run. Treat anyone selling a front-row seat as a scam.
Can you buy tickets to fashion week?
Not for the main shows. Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana says Milan Fashion Week events are accessible by invitation only and warns against third parties selling tickets. The Paris federation’s official calendar marks physical shows “by invitation”. London’s accreditation is for press and buyers. Fashion week is a trade event first.
Seats go to buyers, press, clients and each designer’s guests, which is why none of the organisers we checked publishes a price list. What some organisers do run is a public layer around the week: livestreams, screenings, exhibitions and open events. Those are set out city by city below.
Brand parties, pop-ups and paid “experiences” in the same week are run by other companies on their own terms. They are not the official show calendar.
What does each city’s organiser say about public access?
We checked each organiser’s own website on 1 October 2026. London, Copenhagen and Seoul published public events for their latest editions; Paris and Milan stream shows online; New York’s CFDA has run public screenings. None of them sells tickets to the official shows.
Public programmes change every season, so treat this table as a record of the latest edition and check the organiser’s site before the next one.
| City | Organiser | Main shows | What the public can do |
|---|---|---|---|
| London | British Fashion Council (BFC) | Press and buyer accreditation | September 2026 (17–21 September): the BFC’s Fashion Britain programme of public events in eight UK cities, a BFC Jewellery Showcase at Dover Street Market open to the public daily, the British Vogue x Nike Café at 180 Strand open to all on 19–20 September, and a livestreamed eBay pre-loved runway show |
| Paris | Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) | Physical shows marked “by invitation” on the official calendar | Watch: many shows carry a “Livestream” label on the FHCM calendar and stream at fhcm.paris |
| Milan | Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) | Invitation only, CNMI says | Watch live or on demand at milanofashionweek.cameramoda.it |
| New York | CFDA (official schedule) | No ticket route published by the CFDA | NYFW Live at Rockefeller Center: CFDA public screenings of shows, 11–16 September 2025 (its page had not listed a later edition when we checked) |
| Copenhagen | Copenhagen Fashion Week | Official show and presentation schedule | The official event and talk schedule includes events that can be open to the public, with RSVP details on each event page. AW27 runs 1–5 February 2027 |
| Seoul | Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) | Designer runways at Dongdaemun Design Plaza | SS27 (1–6 September 2026): a public-facing outdoor runway at Lotte World Tower, livestreams of major shows on the official YouTube channel, and a ticket giveaway on the official Instagram with two tickets per winner |
How much are fashion week tickets?
There is no official price, because the organisers we checked do not sell seats to the main shows. A price you see online is being set by someone else, usually a reseller or a package seller with no say over the guest list. Milan’s organiser explicitly warns against buying from third parties.
Some public events around the week are simply open: the BFC listed its September 2026 Jewellery Showcase at Dover Street Market as open to the public daily, and Seoul’s organiser gave show tickets away through its official Instagram. Check each organiser’s site for the edition you want; the public programme changes every season.
How can you watch fashion week shows for free?
Use the organisers’ own streams. The FHCM calendar marks many Paris shows “Livestream” at fhcm.paris; CNMI streams Milan at milanofashionweek.cameramoda.it; Seoul’s organiser said major SS27 shows would stream on the official Seoul Fashion Week YouTube channel. In September 2026 the BFC pointed London viewers to a livestreamed eBay show.
After the week, The Cast Index casting ledger records who walked which verified show, and the Season Beauty Index tracks the hair and make-up looks.
How do you spot a fashion week ticket scam?
Assume any seller of official show seats is not the organiser. CNMI, which runs Milan, says its events are invitation-only and warns against third-party ticket advertising. Walk away from “VIP packages”, front-row “guarantees”, payment by bank transfer to an individual, and any offer you cannot check on the organiser’s own website.
- Check the organiser first: the BFC (London), FHCM (Paris), CNMI (Milan), CFDA (New York), Copenhagen Fashion Week and the Seoul Metropolitan Government list their own public events.
- Invitations come from the brands showing and their teams. A social media account selling them is not that.
- Models never pay to walk a legitimate show, so a paid “walk in fashion week” package is the same scam aimed at a different buyer.
- If you have already paid a stranger and suspect fraud, contact your bank straight away.
Can you volunteer or work at fashion week instead?
Sometimes, but only through real employers. NYFW: The Shows says on its contact page that it does not work with volunteers. Copenhagen Fashion Week lists vacancies on its own careers page, and the BFC publishes contract opportunities. Do not pay anyone a fee for the chance to “volunteer”.
If you want to model at fashion week, the route is an agency, not a ticket. Our modelling guides explain how casting works and why you never pay to walk.
