1. What The Cast Index is
The Cast Index publishes an independent editorial ranking (the “Index”), a directory, an events directory, and a community vote (“People’s Choice”). Editorial rankings are compiled by our desk. The site is owned and operated by Elite Digital AI Solutions Ltd, registered in England & Wales, Company No. 17250017, and edited by Kaiser Khan.
2. Rankings are independent and not for sale
No payment, listing, submission, donation, commission, or vote buys, influences, or guarantees any editorial ranking, placement, or endorsement. People’s Choice is a separate public popularity vote and does not affect the editorial Index.
3. Affiliate links
Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy through them, the retailer pays The Cast Index a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are always labelled with a disclosure placed before or alongside the link and carry rel="sponsored". Commissions never influence what we review, how we score it, or where anything ranks. Retailers’ own terms, prices and policies govern any purchase you make on their sites. 4. Paid listings
A directory listing and an event listing are paid services (a profile/event page, verification where stated, and discoverability). A listing is not an endorsement, ranking, or guarantee of exposure. We review submissions and may decline any listing; declined listings are refunded (see Refund Policy).
5. Event listings
Event listings are submitted by organisers. Inclusion is not verification or endorsement. Confirm details directly with the organiser. You must be authorised to submit an event and its information must be accurate.
6. Voting
Votes require a confirmed email and are one per email, per nominee. Manipulation (bots, bought votes, disposable-email abuse) is prohibited and voided. We may adjust or cancel results affected by manipulation.
7. Age — 18 and over only
Paid listings, People’s Choice nominations, and other submissions of personal details are for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly accept submissions from, or nominations of, anyone under 18, and we will remove such entries. Young people should pursue modelling through a reputable agency with a parent or guardian involved. See our guide, Modelling under 18.
8. Content & likeness
You must have the rights to any names, images, and content you submit. The editorial Index and profiles are published on a public-interest editorial basis; individuals may request corrections via the editorial desk.
9. Imagery & copyright
Imagery on this site falls into three buckets: (1) freely licensed photographs from Wikimedia Commons (and equivalent public-domain sources), shown with author, licence, and source attribution on the relevant profile and on Image credits; (2) AI-generated editorial assets we commission for anonymous beauty still-lifes, wardrobe silhouettes, finish mood studies, city atmospheres, and page scenes — these are never official brand packshots and never AI likenesses of named real people; (3) initials or other non-photographic placeholders where no free licence exists. We do not republish unlicensed press photography. Atmospheric scenes do not identify ranked individuals unless a credited photograph says so. If you submit an image, you warrant that you own it or hold a valid licence. Rights-holders can request review or removal via desk@thecastindex.com.
10. Liability & changes
The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here.
