Early life
Devyn Faith Garcia was born on 24 July 2001 in Miami Beach, Florida, to a Cuban-American father of Spanish and Canary Islands descent and a mother of Black, white and Native American heritage; she has an older and a younger sister. She decided during her senior year of high school to pursue modelling rather than college, signing with DNA Models in New York and Ford Models in Paris around 2019, with her first year of work disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Early recognition, 2021–2022
Garcia’s first major cover came with Elle US in September 2021, shot by Cass Bird. The following year brought an H&M campaign and Nordstrom bookings, alongside recognition from Vogue as one of its "10 Breakout Models of Spring 2022" and a place on its "Top 15 Models You Need to Know Now" list. She was profiled in the Financial Times in September 2022, and has walked for Brandon Maxwell, Altuzarra, Chloé and Jacquemus, with cover and editorial credits including Vogue España, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, i-D, Porter and Harper’s Bazaar.
Victoria’s Secret and recent record, 2024–2025
