Early career
Kendall Nicole Jenner signed with Wilhelmina Models on 12 July 2009, at thirteen. Her first paid assignment was Forever 21’s "Rocker Babes with a Twist" campaign that December, and she walked her first runway show — for Sherri Hill, during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week — in September 2011. Through 2012 she built a foundation of commercial covers and campaigns, including work with Victoria’s Secret photographer Russell James from November of that year.
03 / Career record
Move to high fashion, 2013–2014
On 21 November 2013, Jenner signed with The Society Management, marking her shift toward high fashion, and immediately walked for Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Chanel, Donna Karan, Fendi, Bottega Veneta and Balmain, among others. In 2014 she took part in two Chanel presentations, including the Métiers d’Art show in Salzburg, and in November became an official Estée Lauder representative; LOVE editor Katie Grand called her "the ‘It Girl’ of the season."
04 / Career record
Breakthrough years, 2015–2016
In 2015, Jenner walked for Chanel, Alexander Wang, Fendi, Balmain, Givenchy and Elie Saab among others, made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut, and signed contracts with Calvin Klein Jeans and Penshoppe. She debuted at No. 16 on Forbes’s list of top-earning models that year, with reported income of $4 million. In 2016 she continued across Chanel, Versace, Dior, Miu Miu and Balmain, with campaigns for Mango, Calvin Klein and others.

Highest-paid model, 2017–present
In 2017, Forbes named Jenner the world’s highest-paid model, displacing Gisele Bündchen, who had topped the list since 2002; her reported earnings that year were $22 million, and Forbes ranked her No. 1 again that November. She was appointed creative director of the luxury retailer FWRD in September 2021, fronted By Far’s debut Daydream fragrance in 2022, starred alongside Bad Bunny in Gucci’s Valigeria luggage campaign in October 2023, and fronted Calvin Klein’s Fall 2024 womenswear campaign. She was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Art & Style in 2024.
