Early life

Janiece Altagracia Dilone was born on 13 May 1994 in New York City, of Dominican descent, and works mononymously as "Dilone," a name chosen to represent her family. She began modelling at 19, signing with DNA Model Management.

A Bottega Veneta breakthrough and runway record

Dilone’s breakthrough came with Bottega Veneta’s Men’s Fall 2016 runway show, followed by an extensive run of seasons that included Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show appearances in 2016 and 2017. Her campaign work includes David Yurman, Balmain, H&M, DKNY, Stella McCartney, Coach, Versace and Sephora’s "Let Beauty Together" campaign, with editorial and cover credits spanning i-D, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, Vogue Mexico, Vogue Netherlands, Vogue Portugal and T Magazine. She has been ranked among Models.com’s Top 50.

A parallel acting career, 2021–2023

Dilone took on a significant acting role as Pat Cleveland in Netflix’s Halston miniseries in 2021, the same year she appeared in The Novice and two episodes of The Sex Lives of College Girls. She continued with film roles in The Good Mother and Memory in 2023. She is represented by CAA in New York and Los Angeles, alongside VIVA Model Management in Paris, London and Barcelona.
