Lily Aldridge

Early life

Lily Maud Aldridge was born on 15 November 1985 in Santa Monica, California, the daughter of British artist and illustrator Alan Aldridge and Laura Lyons, a former Playboy Playmate; her half-sisters include model and actress Saffron Aldridge, and her sister Ruby Aldridge also models. She began modelling at 16 for Abercrombie & Fitch, and married Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill on 12 May 2011; the couple have two children.

Victoria’s Secret years, 2009–2018

Aldridge walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for the first time in 2009 and was named a full Angel in 2010. She fronted Rag & Bone’s Spring campaign in 2011 and was named the face of XOXO and Proactiv in 2014, the year she also appeared on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 50th-anniversary cover alongside Chrissy Teigen and Nina Agdal. In 2015 she wore the Victoria’s Secret $2 million Fantasy Bra at the Fashion Show, before stepping away from the runway in 2018 and taking a role in the film Ocean’s 8 that year.

Business ventures and recent record, 2013–2025

Aldridge launched her "Lily Aldridge for Velvet" clothing line in 2013, and her fragrance line, Lily Aldridge Parfums, in 2019, alongside a long-running campaign record including Rocawear, Coach, Levi’s and Tommy Hilfiger. In September 2025 she released a 14-piece capsule collection with sleepwear brand Eberjey, and on 15 October 2025 returned to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway at Steiner Studios in New York, her first appearance since 2016. She is represented by IMG Models worldwide.
