01 / Why they matter
What Vittoria is known for.
A runway mainstay since the mid-2010s.
02 / Career record
Early life
Vittoria Ceretti was born on 7 June 1998 in Brescia, in Italy’s Lombardy region. Her father, Giuseppe Ceretti, ran a flooring company; her mother, Francesca Lazzari, was a housewife. At fourteen she entered the Italian round of the Elite Model Look competition and reached the finals — the contest that launched her into the industry.
03 / Career record
Discovery and early runway, 2012–2017
Ceretti made her runway debut in Milan in 2012, walking for the designer Kristina Ti, and built a fast-moving career through her teens. By 2014 she was the face of Dolce & Gabbana’s Autumn/Winter and Beauty campaigns for the following year, and 2015 brought the Armani Autumn/Winter campaign, Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2017 campaign, and a Fendi Spring/Summer 2017 campaign alongside Gigi and Bella Hadid.
In July 2016 she appeared on the cover of Vogue Italia, photographed by Steven Meisel, who also shot her for Prada that year. 2017 brought covers for Vogue Japan, American Vogue and Vogue France, and in March she was one of seven models on American Vogue’s 125th-anniversary cover.
04 / Career record
Completing the Big Four
In 2018, a British Vogue cover completed what the industry calls "the Big Four" — covers for the American, British, Italian and French editions of Vogue — a benchmark reached by very few models. The same year she was reported as the most-searched model on Vogue Italia’s website, fronted campaigns for Tiffany & Co. and Proenza Schouler, and became a face of Chanel’s Coco Neige collection. In 2019 she walked in Chanel’s Métiers d’Art show, deepening a relationship with the house that has continued into her current haute couture bookings.
05 / Career record
Recent record, 2023–2026
Ceretti fronted Chanel Beauty’s Holiday campaign in 2023 and was named the new face of Pucci in 2024. By 2024 her career total stood at roughly 400 fashion shows and 24 Vogue covers across international editions, a body of work that places her among the most consistently booked models of her generation; she has also been reported among the highest-paid working models as of 2025.
In 2026 she took part in the opening ceremony of the Milan–Cortina Winter Olympics, staged in her home country — a rare crossover between the runway and a global sporting event. Her current Index Rating draws on the same current-season strength: 2026 haute couture appearances at Chanel, Balenciaga, Givenchy and Chloé, and a Saint Laurent campaign and Harper’s Bazaar France editorial credit, detailed in the evidence section below.
