Early life
Alexandra Agoston-O’Connor was born on 24 June 1987 in Sydney, Australia, of Hungarian, Irish, English and Austrian descent. She was scouted in Paris at around 15 while on a family holiday, an encounter that led to her professional debut at New York Fashion Week, where she walked roughly 20 shows in her first season.

A runway career built on couture
Agoston built an early runway record spanning Proenza Schouler, Monique Lhuillier, Christian Lacroix, Elie Saab, Armani Privé, Dior, Comme des Garçons and Jean Paul Gaultier — a relationship close enough that she became known in the industry as "Gaultier’s muse." Her later runway work has included Naeem Khan, Badgley Mischka, John Galliano, Off-White, Christian Siriano and David Jones.
