Early life
Katarzyna Strusińska, known professionally as Kasia Struss, was born on 23 November 1987 in Ciechanów, Poland. She was scouted in 2005 after submitting photos to a Polish teen magazine, and was represented for over a decade by her mother agency, Avant Management.

A most-booked runway record, 2005–2010
Struss’s debut season drew early industry attention, with Style.com ranking her among the top ten newcomers. In the Spring/Summer 2009 season she tied with Vlada Roslyakova for the most shows walked, 72, across New York, London, Milan and Paris, and ranked third most-booked the following season. Her runway record has grown to more than 400 shows across her career, including Marc Jacobs, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent, alongside campaigns for Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Dior, Valentino and Hugo Boss.

Struss has appeared on 12 Vogue covers, including Vogue Italia, alongside Numéro, W, V and Dazed & Confused, and holds "Industry Icon" status on Models.com.
