Early life
Lineisy Montero Feliz was born on 8 February 1996 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She was scouted at around 13 or 14 at an amusement park in Santo Domingo by Ossygeno Models, her Dominican mother agency, though her mother required her to wait roughly four years before signing with an international agency.

A Prada breakthrough, 2015
Montero made her runway debut at Prada’s Autumn/Winter 2015 show in Milan, quickly becoming a Prada exclusive and drawing coverage as the season’s breakout star. That August she fronted a Teen Vogue cover alongside Imaan Hammam and Aya Jones, and appeared in Prada’s Fall/Winter 2015 campaign, shot by Steven Meisel.

Montero has fronted advertising campaigns for Chanel, Givenchy and H&M Beauty, and has contributed 18 editorials to American Vogue since 2016. Her runway record spans more than 50 luxury houses, including Prada, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Burberry, Tom Ford and Stella McCartney, and she has been ranked among Models.com’s "Top 50."
