She attended Ewell Castle School, taking A-levels in History, Psychology and Art, and later trained at the Baron Brown Studio in Los Angeles.
She was discovered at around age 14 by photographer Jamie Hawkesworth during a casting for a JW Anderson campaign held at her school, and became known early on in the industry as the "mystery girl" for her serious expression and distinctive brows.

Attal was named a Models.com "Top Newcomer" in 2016. The following year she appeared on the final British Vogue cover produced under editor Alexandra Shulman, alongside Kate Moss and other models, and fronted a Vogue Arabia cover wearing a traditional Berber ceremonial headpiece. She made her Chanel runway debut that year and continued walking the house’s shows through Pre-Fall 2018, becoming a recurring presence on its runway; by 2019 she had entered Models.com’s "Top 50."

Attal has since walked more than a dozen Chanel shows, alongside a client list including Fendi, Gucci, Prada, Valentino, Dior, Tom Ford, Burberry and more than 30 other luxury houses. She was named a Models.com "Icon" in 2022, the same year she married filmmaker Víctor Bastidas, and was added to the Business of Fashion 500 list in 2023.
