Early life
Lila Grace Moss Hack was born on 29 September 2002 in London, the only child of supermodel Kate Moss and Jefferson Hack, co-founder of Dazed magazine; her parents separated shortly after her birth. At age eight she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, and has since worn a visible insulin pump on the runway and in campaigns — a choice she has described publicly as a way of normalising the condition rather than concealing it.
She first appeared publicly in fashion at 14, on a 2016 Vogue Italia cover alongside her mother, and later studied at Parsons School of Design in New York.
