How it works

How do agencies in Canada recruit?

  • Applications are online: Dulcedo, Montage, Folio, Sutherland, Spot 6 and Want use forms on their own sites, and Richard’s sees people by appointment only. Richard’s Models — get discovered ↗
  • No professional photos: Richard’s and Lizbell ask for natural, unfiltered snapshots without make-up. Lizbell Agency — submissions ↗
  • Most contact you only if interested: Spot 6 sends no confirmation email and asks applicants not to call or email about their status. Spot 6 Management — Spot Me ↗
  • Verify any scout: Richard’s emails come only from @richardsmodels.com, Folio’s agents use name@foliomanagement.com addresses, and Sutherland and Spot 6 ask you to call the agency first. Richard’s Models — cyber warning ↗
  • We could not verify an official Canadian or provincial rule specific to modelling-agency fees; the federal guidance below covers job fees generally.
