How to become a model in Spain
Apply to a Madrid or Barcelona agency through its own website, with natural phone photos and your basic stats. Several, including View, Sight, Trend and Traffic, publish minimum heights; others ask only for your height. Most do not see walk-ins. Under-16s may take part in public shows only in exceptional cases authorised by the labour authority.

How it works
How do agencies in Spain recruit?
- Most agencies take applications online or by email and do not see walk-ins: View says it holds no open calls, and Mad Models sees no candidates without an appointment. View Management — become a model ↗

What are the rules in Spain?

Elite’s international model contest has a Spanish page and online entry. Its 2026 rules say applicants must be at least 14, with a parent’s or guardian’s permission under 18.

Modelling in Spain, answered
Is there a minimum height for Spanish modelling agencies?
- It depends on the agency. View asks for at least 170cm (girls) and 180cm (boys), Sight 173cm and 185cm, Trend 175cm and 185cm, and Traffic 173cm and 185cm. Elite and Next publish no minimum.
Do Spanish agencies charge to apply?
- View says it does not charge a fee to view your pictures, and Elite and Next say they never ask for payment.
Can under-18s apply?
- Some agencies accept them. View’s minimum age is 16, Mad Models asks you to confirm you are at least 14, and Sight lists ages 15–20 for women and 17–25 for men. Elite asks for a parent’s or guardian’s details for minors.
